KET at the Spitfire & Hurricane Memorial Museum

KET gives talk to Spitfire & Hurricane Museum

KET Managing Trustee Sylvia May was delighed to visit the Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial Museum located at Manston International Airport in Kent, on 3rd June.

It was a pleasure to meet the museum staff and visitors. Sylvia gave a talk about the role of the Royal Air Force during the Burma Campaign and at the Battle of Kohima in particular, with special mention made of key figures who took part in the flying, including Ray Jackson and Jimmy Whalen.

Visitors attending the talk were kind enough to purchase items from the KET shop, including books and items of Naga jewellery, all available via our online shop.

KET is most grateful to the Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial Museum for the kind invitation.
