VJ Day 75 with The Royal British Legion

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, The Royal British Legion has taken the difficult decision not to continue with plans for their overseas tours to commemorate VJ Day.

They remain hopeful however that the current movement restrictions initiated by the UK Government to counter the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic will have been lifted by August and are therefore pressing ahead with developing their VJ 75 plans at the National Memorial Arboretum over the weekend of 14-16 August 2020.
